I bought a new Gallien Krueger Legacy 112 bass amp from Polar's Ebay store in late December 2022. The amp came with a 2 year warranty, and I wanted the security which came from buying a new amp with a warranty should any issues arise. The amp has only been used a handful of times. Always at home, never gigged, and never at anything approaching full volume. The amp developed an audible fault, a sizzling sound which is extremely irritating. I contacted Polar expecting this to be resolved under the warranty. They had me fill in a warranty repair form online, which seemed fine. They then refused to help as they are no longer the UK supplier for Gallien Krueger. They told me to contact Andertons as they are now the GK agent. No piece of proof of purchase has been adequate for Andertons. I have a new amp with a fault. There appears to be little will for Andertons to help, but I can't blame them. They didn't sell me the amp. Polar have the gall to still be selling the amp on their site as I am writing this (26/4/23). I would hope that they have the decency to point out that they will not participate in any way should any issues arise with the amp (other than to tell them to go to Andertons). Polar have taken my money and essentially washed their hands of the matter. They have taken no responsibility whatsoever. Their customer service in my case has been abject. I could have bought a second hand amp and saved my money. Polar have been dire, absolutely dire.

Seemingly nice people to deal with but customer service really sucks. Manager took no responsibility for the poor service. Would not buy from them again. Shame if I'm honest.
