You pay for what you get. Yep, it's a little old and has a certain charm, but the motorhome got us to where we needed to be, drove well, was surprisingly economical, comfortable and was considerably cheaper than all our friends who had more modern units. The kids loved it too. Bob's communication was spot on and he was very helpful throughout. We cleaned the unit before returning it and we didn't break anything, so got our deposit back in full with no quibbles and a thank you from Bob for returning it in such good condition.

Stay away like the plague, the vans are old and patch up in very different ways and when you return the van everything is fine and then they make up numbers from thin air to charge you from your deposit. We used the van for a week, however they charged me 65 for 6.5 hrs deep cleaning plus 10 for a missing plastic cup and several other items up to 132. Expect high damages charges

DO NOT use this company as they will take your deposit of 500 without any receipts to show how they have used it. Our lawyers are now involved Your reply is not accurate- you gave us no time to look at repairs on so-called damage- you took our 500 deposit VERY quickly- how are we supposed to get it fixed/ looked at by independent mechanics when it was rented out that same day????? we have never seen any receipts for work you claim it needed. How come the repairs came to 500 EXACTLY- weird that eh????

I have used Roadtrip Rentals for two different holidays now, and the experience has been great both times. Communication is timely, and they're always happy to help out in whatever additonal ways I seem to come up with! They're flexible and and professional, and I can't imagine using another company for my families roadtrips.

Unfortunately, weve had a similar experience as per Charlottes review. One week after weve returned the motorhome, we were advise via email there was 300 worth of damages to the passenger side of the motorhome. The same day the money was taken from our account without our consent or authorization and no evidence of damage was provided to us. I had 3rd Party Excess Damage Waiver Insurance that would cover any damages. Having requested more than once photographic evidence and a formal letterheaded letter with a description of damages and breakdown of costs to form part of my claim, these requests have been ignored. These are basic requests that any company should comply with if they claim there is damages to their vehicle and to be able to assist their customers with a claim. If you claim there is damage why cant you provide evidence? If there were damages as Roadtrip Rentals claims and they provided me with the supported documentation I requested from the start I couldve completed my insurance claim. By ignoring my requests and taking our money without consent/authorization make this look suspicious. 30 days later I can no longer claim via my insurance company as the claim period have expired. The vehicle most likely have been rented out by now to new customers, so how you keep track on whos damages belongs to which customer is beyond me! This is not how a rental company should operate.
