The whole process was really easy and well-organised. After receiving our estimated installation cost and deciding to go ahead, the surveyor was quickly booked and gave us helpful advice on whether or not to add optional extras such as bird netting. There was no pressure to buy at any point. The installation was very smooth, with scaffolding arriving at the start of the week, panels, batteries and inverter installed within a day, and scaffolding removed two days later. Very impressive! Communications throughout were timely, clear and helpful. Everyone we dealt with was polite, friendly and professional, and the customer support team really know their products.

I had trouble reconfiguring my wi-fi connection to the Solis App after a change of Router was imposed on me by my Internet provider. Leo at Home Smart was brilliant, he sent over a ' you tube video ' and then checked that it had all been carried out ok. Would have been totally ' lost ' without his help and I'm so grateful, thanks

Edited from a 5 star review. After what was initially a positive experience, I'm now left with 4 panels not connected and been waiting 2 weeks for someone to visit to confirm the issue and emails being ignored. Update. I was informed by my energy provider that the solar system hasn't been registered which seems to be a common theme with other customers. My emails have been ignored. Their weak excuse for my initial issue was false as they had ignored my emails until I posted negative reviews and my inverter was in my garage. At no point was I emailed to say the weather was an issue. I would avoid at all costs.

The install was completed very quickly, once the Solaredge premium optimisers became available. The installers were polite and cleaned up as did the scaffolders. However I have had some issues with the installation, which have not been addressed. After sales service is poor. Nobody ever responds to emails & calls are never followed up. I have been trying for nearly 1 year to get my issues resolved. Cables installed loose in gutters, unsafe consumer box modification, damp penetration of roof and batteries left on their end balanced on a piece of wood and not in a rack. The panels are good but the integration of the inverters and immersion heater diverter are very poor / non-existent. Not related directly to Homesmart but they specified the system, was an issue with a firmware bug on the Solis Inverter that stopped my batteries being charged and also mysteriously my charge from grid setting changed to Disabled.
