Amazing little shop, the lady behind the counter was a breath of fresh air

We were away here for the weekend and popped into this gift shop as it looked great. The plaques were great and thought Id take some photos whilst inside. I then got the elderly lady shop owner waving her hand in my face shouting that I wasnt allowed to take photos. I wasnt interested in looking after that, I would have easily spent my money in here but walked out after. No need for her rudeness and I wouldnt even entertain coming back to put money in her pocket.. not unless the money would go towards giving her some manners.

A lot of unique little items in this eclectic shop. Funny to see some of the kitschy items that I have seen in the States.

I just popped in for a birthday card. I was surprised by how good they were and how cheap. Then took a while to look around and got the personal tour of the shop from a lovely lady working there. No pressure to buy but friendly chat. All sorts of interesting things on sale and felt far far from tourist tat. Lovely things. I certainly would not give house room to everything but I'd bet everyone would find something they liked or just that made them laugh.

A busy shop with Christmas approaching. Plenty of items on sale. I ended up purchasing some beautiful wrapping paper. Worth looking around if you need to get a gift for someone.
