Visited one of their houses in Cirencester: I found Hideaways great to deal with and with plenty of rental options across the South of England - I will definitely be visiting more of their properties this year.

Booked a beautiful holiday cottage in Dorset through HIDEAWAYS and had a great time. Super service.

Please steer clear of this company. We booked a cottage through them and unfortunately 4 months before our booking I had pregnancy complications which meant we were advised not to travel and so could not make use of our booking. I contacted Hideaways and was told our deposit would not be refunded even though I had been advised on medical conditions not to travel! I was surprised by this as I was sure that with 4 months notice the cottage would easily be let again and I believed my situation fell in line with Hideaways T&Cs of a serious reason. So I called them only to be told by a very rude lady that it was basically my fault for getting pregnant and that it was their policy not to refund deposits. This basically adds up to them making an extra 400+ on a booking for a week that they will certainly fill again and receive another deposit for. Disgraceful shady business practise.
