What do you get when you combine a convenience store with a grocery store? A Co-op. You may have to look extra hard but they usually have what you need though some items can sell out earlier in the day. Don't expect a wide variety but learn to settle for what's available. Use the only Cashpoint in town at your own risk as it ate my card (but then spit it out, thankfully, 10 minutes later.)

Need a wicker basket? Theyve got hundreds. Need lettuce? Cheese? Onions? Nope. Empty shelves constantly.

Had a very bad experience and I behaved appallingly as a result. I am aspergers and needed some hey fever tablets, I popped in to get some and was promptly told I had to leave because I had a dog with me. I explained that I can't leave him outside, too stressful for me. The young man was determined I left and told me my dog didn't have the right markings on to be a therapy dog. I lost my cool and called him a rude name, for which I apologise. That said the service was aweful, no conversation or questions about why I need to keep the dog with me, just ejected and told never to return.
