My Eden

Catharina is an incredibly talented dress maker, who made my dreams of wearing my Mum's wedding dress a reality! Catharina has such an eye for detail, she really listened to the alterations that I wanted to make and helped transform the dress into my own (whilst it still being the dress that my Mum wore 30 years ago!). Catharina's workshop is absolutely beautiful and I loved visiting it for fittings. I would highly recommend Catharina for your bespoke bridal dreams!

Wow, I dont even know where to begin with detailing how wonderful my experience with Catharina at My Eden Bridal was. From my very first phone call I knew she was the lady for me and my dress. Catharina was attentive, listened to my crazy covid wedding story and all my wants for my dress. As I was organising our wedding with only 6 weeks notice I opted for Catharinas Elopement style dress with 3D flowers all over it. I came in and tried it on and we discussed all the ways it could be customised to suit me. We took all my measurements and decided to change the neck line, the scoop in the back, sleeve length, train length, hem. All of this Catharina made the dress from scratch and did all my customisations in the space of about 3 weeks. I even had to pull my wedding forward by a week, 2 weeks before the actual date and I called Catharina straight away to check it was possible to have the dress finished by the new date and her answer, without hesitation, was YES! Catharina also knew exactly who to go to to have my veil embroidered which was fabulous. And once it arrived she added little flowers to it as an extra detail and it really finished the piece of perfectly. Wearing my dress just felt like a dream. It felt amazing, so comfortable and it fit me perfectly. It was a dream come true dress and I had the most magical wedding. I felt completely comfortable and relaxed in the dress for the whole day and I got so many compliments and everyone was asking my where it was from. My experience with My Eden Bridal was absolutely 5 star and more. I wish I had endless excuses to keep going back to Catharina to have more dresses made for parties and balls but unfortunately thats not quite my lifestyle. I never ever wanted to take my dress off. I still think about putting in on and strolling around the house. It was totally and utterly perfect and so was Catharina. Her skills are second to none and her attention to detail both for the dresses and what exactly you want is exquisite. Just beyond words, I cannot recommend My Eden Bridal & Catharina enough! This really is just a love note for Catharina and my dress.

I came across Catharina when I was looking for a wedding dress a year ago. I went to many wedding dress shops but couldn't find what I was looking for. I was having a religious Jewish wedding and so needed long sleeves. However, many long sleeve dresses I found were backless!?! I found some wedding dress styles I loved and decided I would have one made instead. I "stumbled" across My Eden and how lucky I was! From the moment I spoke to Catharina, I knew she was going to be able to make my "dream" wedding dress. I sent her a picture of the dress I liked the style of and she told me straight away that it would be possible to make, which lace I should use etc. I only had 3 months until my wedding but Catharina managed to make the most perfect dress for me! It fitted me like a glove, the lace was beautiful and I had so many compliments! I also have to say that my dress cost was not as expensive as you would think for a tailor-made dress. Thank you Catharina!
