This is a Motor Home and Caravan Club site. It's in a lovely location of an old quarry. It has all the necessary basic facilities which are very clean and well looked after. It has a small shop with some basics, but no club house or a restaurant. It has food traders coming in on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. The Friday's stone baked pizza was excellent. I believe the Thursday and Saturday provider is the same so as were not impressed with the food on Thursday, we did not go back. The site is within walking distance (around 3 km) of Buxton. But you walk through woods and uphill on the way back so probably not ideal if you are planning a night out.

Safety: Well designed campsite. Walkability: Plenty of nearby walk's. Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome and even a dog wash down area.
