DIVA STAR NAILS

Had an awful experience here. I booked a 25 gel polish and shape for my feet through their website and arrived slightly early for my appointment. On arrival I was asked for my name and booking, the manager said they were ready to start and ushered me over towards the seats. She casually mentioned the word pedicure to me while walking to the seats, which for me was an accurate description of what I was about to have done. I sat down and got my gel polish treatment which lasted 30 minutes and included a very quick scrub and soak. I had been told it was a cash only service so immediately after the treatment I went across the street and withdrew 30 (the atm charges a 1.65 flat fee per transaction). When I got back I was told that I had been given a luxe pedicure and that the cost was 45 so I would have to withdraw additional funds. I told them this was not what I booked nor wanted, and the manager started arguing with me saying that she had asked me if I wanted a pedicure. The salon was full of people and she was doing someones nails while aggressively shouting at me to pay the remaining 15. Eventually I was told I could do a bank transfer of the balance but told to show proof of the transfer on my phone. It was a horrible experience - they use misleading tactics to make you pay for something you dont want. The manager comes across as friendly and welcoming until something doesnt go her way and she becomes extremely rude and combative. Wont be returning.

Ive been going here for over a year now and they are always amazing and super lovely, the owner is such a sweetheart I will always keep going here as long as I live in the area

Linda did my gel manicure - she really took care of my cuticles and the shape and colour were lovely. Perfect spring set!
