Argos Old Street

Worst Argos experience ever. I went there to return earbuds because they were faulty (disconnection and bad reception), but the staff member, who I believe is a manager or supervisor, rejected to let me return and said he had connected the earbuds to his phone and it had no connection problem. First of all I was shocked that he tested my personal item with his phone without my consent - did he try the earbuds by himself? What about HYGIENE issue? Even if the item was not faulty, I will absolutely not use it anymore. Secondly, he was not a professional tester, but he insisted the product was fine, so I wasn't allowed to return it. But what about different compatibility with different devices? He also asked me to go back to the store where I purchased it. I asked why, is there any policy that I need to go there instead of doing it here? He answered no, but still refused to help me return it there. I was so confused and full of questions, so right away I called Argos customer service, who told me customers can surely return faulty items in ANY store, and that she could help to solve this situation if I pass the phone to the staff. However, the staff refused to talk to her and just walked away. They obviously don't know how to do their job and provide horrible, unprofessional service. Funny enough, later when I went to another branch and return the same item, the staff helped with it immediately in a polite, nice manner. After this I was more than sure that the staff in Argos Old street was doing their job incorrectly and rudely. I wasn't surprised to see other comments saying they got almost humiliated by their rude service. Totally recommend you to go to another store, or be careful with the staff in this branch.

Had trouble getting the two items I needed floor staff very helpful and found said items. Thank you very much for being so diligent.

On 17 of April at around 7:22 pm I came to Argos Old Street to return 3 items. 2 of those items were yoga mats .The mats were opened (from the original packaging) as they had to be tried (practicing yoga). The reason why I wanted to return the mats was because they were very thin and when keening it was extremely painful and uncomfortable. I have explained that to Shabs - Manager of the store who ignored all of my rational and refused to refund the money. An awful service and zero understanding of the products selling in his own store.

Delivery guy dropped the parcels outside the main building , I asked why not to infront of my flat. He said my company doesnt to it. When I asked he did it say the company name. We argued, and I wanted take the vans registeration number as you can see in video. Driver drived the van on me. and hit me . I walked back, otherwise he was about to injury me maybe worst.

Honestly such a bad experience. Staff that can barely be bothered to look at you at the til. Grubby sticky tablet screens and empty sanitiser dispensers.
