Have worked with LocumPA in Primary care settings for a number of years. Joe who is the Primary care lead is always there to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Great shift availability for both part time and full time work. Indemnity covered and CPD training available. Would highly recommend.

I have worked for Locum PA for 9 months and they have always given me lots of locum shifts. They are easy to get a hold of and respond efficiently!

I recommend LocumPA to any PA with 6 months experience post qualifying. A very easy set up with a lovely team. Alex, Jo & Anna are all very helpful, with excellent communication. Plenty of opportunities in both primary and secondary care with lots of flexibility - exactly what you need as a Locum.

I was working with Locum PA since 2020 with no issues. During the height of the pandemic in December 2020 I started a new role in Primary Care and at the same time I received several (rather rude and persistent) emails and messages asking me to login to the new website and upload my up to date training. This took me a few weeks to do as I swamped with COVID vaccination training and delivering the first approved vaccines in Surrey as well as settling in to my new full time role. Unfortunately, towards end of December had to cancel a shift (within reasonable timing as per policy) due to having COVID symptoms. I was not able to do any shifts since then due to my new schedule. A few weeks ago received an email from Locum PA that I should login to the site as there were several shifts available to which I replied unfortunately I no longer live in london and so will not be able to continue with the company. I received a reply saying the county I currently live in have locum shifts, plus I could work remotely and so I should log in to begin. I reset my password and was awaiting activation for a few days. After no response, I called all of the Locum PA telephone numbers including mobiles and realised i had been blocked. I then went onto the web chat to find out what the status of my activation was. I was replied to in a very unprofessional and rude manner by one of the team members saying that they will not progress with my application because I CANCELLED A SHIFT and that they couldnt get through to me in December. This is the first time I had ever cancelled a shift since registering with the agency! I was confused at what was happening considering I had informed the team at the time of my busy schedule. I also informed them of my COVID symptoms to which the person replied you did not give the excuse of COVID at the time?! Shockingly, they saw what I said as an excuse! I was highly disappointed with this response considering the medical background of this company! There is absolutely no way, that I would use COVID symptoms as an excuse; considering that there is a pandemic killing thousands of people daily! I then proceeded to ask for the person to remove my data from the site in order to end the discussion. The person responded: we will gladly remove you from our system and website I believe that this was clearly a personal attack rather than a incident resulting in my application being declined. I experienced immature and unprofessional behaviour from the admin/CEO team, which is highly disappointing. I have several emails and correspondence to prove the order of events with this company. I will definitely be taking this further as it seems there is an element of discrimination especially as I hadnt had any problems with any of the team prior to this.
