We had an outstanding experience at this branch. My wife needed help getting documents to support a visa application. Saima Mahmood was incredibly patient and helpful to get those together with her. Thank you Saima and the team at HSBC.

Very bad experience of waiting for new bank card 2 months to arrive at the address, but at the end, I have to go take by myself. Also, currently waiting for the PIN number for 3 months, still not arrive at my place. I called their service phone number, but that is helpless, waste of time on the phone! Never try to solve on the call, it will only let u go to the bank. I have been going to HSBC multiple times just for getting a card and PIN number. Really unbelievable and upset for me having this experience in UK.

This 5 star rating applies specifically to the customer service provided at the Moorgate branch by Kate Ellison and Jamal. I initially went in to the branch and was told I could only open an account online. After almost 2 weeks of struggles, delays, and missing my first paycheck while dealing with HSBC's online and phone support teams, I went back to the branch as a last ditch effort for opening an account. Kate/Jamal immediately took the time to open my account in person (they even stayed a few minutes past closing to make sure it was all complete). @HSBC - Kate and Jamal saved my account from going to Barclays. Thank you Kate/Jamal!
