Its a nice enough pub, great in summer outside but very expensive on the grand scheme of things. 8.50 for a small bottle of Prosecco?? Most pubs are a few quid cheaper. Needs refurbishing too.

Called in at the Wharf this evening on our return leg on the canal, ideally located next to the canal, lovely beer garden looking out across the canal .. We were told on arrival that there was only a cut down menu due to being short staffed.. basically consisted fish n chips, burgers, and loaded fries, along with starters... Would have liked a bigger choice, however the food was great and filled a gap! Quite a big gap, as large portions!... Was a Saturday evening, and you can tell it's a warm friendly pub, quite busy with locals / tourists & as the summer months come the beer garden would be a great place to relax in the evening

Had a really, really, really delicious roast dinner at a reasonable price and the staff were lovely. Vastly improved since the last visit!
