Ann's Cottage Surf Shops - Bude

Went in today to look at wetsuits, staff were too busy talking to each other to notice us so we went to Zuma Jays absolute opposite level of service. So Anns cottage service lost them 400 in sales to Zuma Jays benefit.

This is a generous sized store with a great layout and is merchandised really well makes you want to really delve into every corner of the store. This place has a great selection of clothing for guys and girls but is unfortunately let down by the first thing they should all do off by heart and that's acknowledge your customer. A simple Hi, Good morning or How you doing doesn't hurt and it's a simple etiquette that all your staff need to learn. I've visited this store 3-4 times this past week and have spent over 300 and not once have I or any members of my family been acknowledged which i find worrying for your management and owner.

Jay Woodward - I have bought from these many times amongst other online stores such as surfdome, shore and rollersnakes. My recent purchase from annes cottage was a t shirt . It had no protective packaging and was literally just screwed up and dropped in the bag, looked almost second hand I won't be buying from again

We dropped in to the Ann's Cottage shop in Bude to grab some wetsuits and boots for myself, my husband and 5 year old son. We were so impressed with the assistants. They genuinely knew their stuff, they didn't rush us, they didn't try to sell us the most expensive thing in the shop and they took the time to ask us about the activities we intended to do, took into account any personal preferences and brought us a selection of the most suitable suits and boots. The suits we came away with were spot on and allowed us to have lots of fun in the waves!
