Huge estate next to Bude, very few amenities, roads still not finished and they have been building for over 4 years.

We had given Bovis a 5* review, when we first moved in everything was hunky-dory and wonderful. That was until we had to get our snags sorted out. Its has been an absolute nightmare. We are in our 6th month of living here and still have a list as long as our arm to complete with no sign they will be completed by Christmas. We had our car damaged in June by site negligence and provided them a copy of what it would cost to fix. We are still waiting for them to pay or take any sort of responsibility for the damage. We wrote a complaint letter back in August and it is only now getting taken seriously. We had the Area Build Manager round in July after we gave negative feedback on our survey. He promised to check in weekly. 4 weeks went by and we heard nothing which is when we escalated to a letter to Head Office. Weve had builder who have turned up without the correct parts, or the completely wrong parts or have carried out a worst job than what was their before. An example is kitchen worktop. It was damaged and we had 3 plastic men round to fix it, which made it worse, then we had it replaced but theyve fitted it wonky to the end board. Instead of levelling it out, they decided to fill it with sealant. One end is flush and the other is stuffed with just over a centimetre of sealant. Honestly, if youre going to do a job do it right first time. Kieth and Dan, the site manager are lovely and friendly and we have no problem with them. Our pets adore Keith and so do we. However we are getting really frustrated about the whole thing. Its been a nightmare getting the snags sorted. We were also promised as a sorry they they was fit a couple extra rows of patio slabs. We arent holding our breathe!! We are just sick and tired of the let downs, the lack of progress and having workman turn up and not complete the job they were here to do. And most importantly we are sick of builders of doing a bad job.
