We needed a B&B close to certain amenities, and Bosvean House came up. Located down a bridal path and nicely tucked away from the world was a lovey looking home. So close to Bude for beach access and far enough away for peace and quiet at night. Holly, Colin and Charlie made us feel so welcome and spoke about this being our home for the weekend, which was a lovely touch. The House is beautifully decorated with little trinkets to make it very eclectic and chic. The main house has three bedrooms, we stayed in room 2 which was 2 single beds and a private shower and toilet. The view was amazing, overlooking farmland, where we saw wild rabbits and cows. We arrived late on the Friday and after Charlie welcomed us, showed us to our room with fresh milk for the our tea and coffee we dipped into Bude for a quick curry then back to the house to rest up. The beds were so luxurious and comfy it was hard to get up in the morning. But Colin (Charlie's dad) makes a wicked breakfast so wasn't hard to get ourselves up and ready at the dining table. There was fresh fruit and Yogurt, Croissants, Museli and cereal, plus a range of cooked breakfasts including smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. All cooked to perfection and a very hearty size. We did not need to eat again until the evening. After our full day out we came back with some food and set ourselves up on the balcony patio area, where we watched the sun set and relaxed on comfy Ratan furniture with chunky warm blankets. Watching the chickens run around the horses in the next field playing. It was a lovely way to spend our last evening. The following morning after a restful sleep we had our breakfast and said our goodbyes to a lovely family, but not before booking a long weekend to go back again. Could not fault this B&B at all. Lovely family, lovely location. Regards Nicky F XX

We stayed at Bosvean House for 5 days & didn't want to leave. Charlene, Holly & Colin (who cooks the best breakfasts) couldn't do any more for you from the moment you arrive until you depart. It really is a home from home and the hosts go out of their way to ensure you feel that way. There are 3 bedrooms in the B&B all with en-suite bathrooms. I was lucky enough to have room 1 which is known as the suite and it was a dream. From double wardrobes, a beautifully dressed bed which provided the best nights sleep I've had in a while night after night and not to mention the balcony with stunning views of the rolling hills of Bude. There is also a cottage in the grounds which we were able to take a look at which had the same welcoming feel as soon as you walked through the front door. Breakfast is served in the main dining room offering fresh eggs, laid by their chickens, anyway you'd like them! We were so lucky with blue sky and sunshine everyday and were able to enjoy the views from the Summer house and terrace everyday. The BBQ and Pizza oven are a great addition and as a guest you are able to use these whenever you wish. A short walk up the hill along a bridle path and you have stunning views of the sea and is a great location to watch the sunset. We cannot wait to return in the not too distant future as am most definitely suffering with the holiday blues, and highly recommend anyone considering staying here to do so. I can foresee it being booked up months in advance as soon as word gets out what a hidden gem Bosvean House is.
