Lower House Bed and Breakfast

Was so disappointed from the moment we arrived , Male host was very rude and bolshy . Never let us get inside the door before he started quoting the rules & regulations . Bedroom was tiny and bed uncomfortable , i ended up sleeping on the floor in our sitting room so as to let my wife try to get some sleep in the bed ( infact i never slept at all ) . Our sitting room was a small bedroom , with a sofa bed to sit on which was very uncomfortable . Television was tiny with no Sky or BT channels , we were offered a cup of tea on arrival which was taken to our sitting room upstairs .....this was so very unprofessional . Our sleeping quarters were separated from the owners quarters by a curtain , i was simply gobsmacked and my wife felt very uncomfortable . We were going to walk out soon after we arrived but decided to see if the situation improved , alas it didnt and after staying one night of a 3 night stay we decided we couldnt stay any longer . We were going to leave in the early hours , but respectfully decided this would wake the hosts so waited till this morning . Breakfast was less than average , the male host then suggested they would make up the sofa bed in the sitting room .....which meant me sleeping apart from my wife !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as if i would do that . All in all we were very disappointed with the whole package / service at this place and would never re- visit it again in my life . People who have rated this place must have very low standards , we have stayed in fabulous places & venues throughout our lives ......were Customer satisfaction and service were of paramount importance , sadly this was not the case here . My advice to anyone wanting the nice things is to go elsewhere .
