Harrison Marsh - Guitar Teacher

Where do I start, Ive loved music forever, but have been very lazy about playing a instrument, but 2yrs ago I decided to start playing the guitar (loosely termed) and looked for a teacher, after a couple of teachers, I found Harrison, what can I say, I cant praise him enough, he has got me playing and more importantly, enjoying and wanting to learn and play more, what makes it even better, his a top man, very friendly and very patient, because sometimes his ears must hurt, if your looking for a music teacher look no further, I cant recommend him enough. I have recently restarted classical guitar coaching after a 50 year break. I am most impressed by Harrisons patience, experience and knowledge. His teaching skills and love of the guitar even at my level are excellent. I am sure that he is providing me with a first class opportunity to progress with guitar to my liking and hopefully his.

I started learning guitar in my 60s just over 2 years ago and turned to Harrison as I felt I needed guidance doing the LCME Grade acoustic guitar exams. Harrison clearly has enormous experience and has been able to help me make steady progress so I am now preparing for Grade 6 (all done via Zoom so far). Highly recommended.

Harrison has been my teacher since starting to learn the guitar in 2013, and he has had a huge impact on my progression and career as a musician. He guided me through Grades 1-8 electric guitar, and is now helping me prepare for my second LCME diploma of jazz guitar performance, as well as providing me with a comprehensive grounding in music theory. I have been taking online lessons for several years which has enabled me to continue with him alongside studying music at university. I have been with Harrison since I was an absolute beginner, and he is now teaching and coaching me as I transition from full time study to working professionally as a musician and teacher myself - I would strongly recommend Harrison as a teacher for students of all abilities!
