Open day, historic place. A book of remembrance for Her Majesty. Observing strict guidelines regarding muffled and unmuffled bells of which there are 8.

Fantastic place of worship. At night the Church is as impressive as ever. I found the village itself quite sheltered from strong winds, not to mention the beautiful architecture of the houses. Back at the Church, the Priest, charming as ever, helped to produce an amazing evening of Christmas Carols, and the full Moon guided us through the Meadows, where a band played. What an enchanting evening. Better still the mulled wine at the village pub.
