A interesting historical building wich I am glad to see still exists and was lucky enough to fined the door unlocked so made for a interesting visit and rare opportunity to see inside one of thies lockups. From trying to fined information out I found year this was opened was 1763. I would love to have seen some information there to tell me about this lock up as there is nothing there and to those who dont know would just pass by.

The Buckland Dinham Lock-up or Blind House is a Grade II Listed Building, probably 18th Century. This is a small square building, constructed of coursed and squared rubble, having a pyramidal stone slate roof topped with a ball finial. Single studded plank door opening to the front and a small oval iron barred opening to rear.
