Beautiful place otherwise, but the fact that it wasn't cleaned made us feel very uncomfortable so we have left without giving the rest of it a chance.
Ammendment to the review because of the early response before resolution.
You seem to be underplaying the sheer amount of flies and no amount of cleaning would have stopped the continuous flow of flies coming in. Unless your cleaner was going to stay the weekend with me.
They were also in the kitchen where you had a fly killer directly above the hob!
Harmless or not there's no way I'm preparing or consuming food while there's flies dropping down into or onto it, if it was a restaurant it would be closed down or pest control would have been called.
You may be ok with one or two in your meal but I'm certainly not.
I was not giving it the chance the same way I wouldn't give riding a motorcycle without a helmet a chance.
It's simply not worth it.
Oh also you might want to extend the fence opposite the hottub as people on horses look right over into it. Not that relaxing.
