We stayed in Beech lodge, a lovely small cottage. The cottage had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners, Wendy, John, Chris and Kate are all very friendly.

I was greeted by Wendy on arrival who was really friendly and chatty, we put the world to rights whilst I was there. It was really interesting to hear about the history of the farm and their family and how they had progressed. I met John, Wendys husband with Timmy and Trigger their two farm dogs who came to say hello every morning whilst I was having my early morning cuppa and taking in the views. The cats are ferrel and arent so friendly according to Wendy, don't pet them or leave your car doors open as they will take residency. I stayed in Beech Lodge which was a 1 bed but was very spacious and had everything in it you could possible need with the added bonus of a bottle of wine, milk and some lovely welcoming flowers, thank you Wendy and John. The lodge was spotless and very well equipped and had lovely views over the countryside front and back, I was surprised to see some cows in the field at the back of the lodge when I came back one day, they were that close you could hear them chewing the grass. There was plenty of outside space to sit at the side with table and chairs and and a sun lounger at the back where you could relax and take in some sun without being overlooked or disturbed, so tranquil and relaxing. Thank you Wendy, John, Timmy and Trigger for making me so welcome and hope to see you all soon
