After being with Buckingham House Dental Practice for many years and not being particularly happy with my experiences I have been assigned to a new Dentist - Teodora-Dana Bogdam. This dentist is a breath of fresh air. She is happy, bubbly, polite and from my experience, very good at what she does. On my first visit to her she noticed something that could be quite serious and I was referred to the hospital for an urgent biopsy. I dont know why this was never questioned by any of my previous dentists. She is very professional and definitely gets the job done. Very very pleased with my new dentist

Not even worth 1 star. Don't pick up the phone and when you eventually get through the receptionist is ignorant and cuts you off abruptly. (I would like to clarify I don't include the black girl on reception who is the only welcoming, friendly front of house staff member there). When I expressed concerns about poor treatment at this practice the dentist told me I wasn't her only patient and as she was spreading herself thinly she didn't appreciate me phoning the practice numerous times. I had phoned only twice and that was because the first message I had left on voicemail, after waiting in a queue for 25 minutes, had not been returned. She then went on to talk to me in a slow short tone, emphasising every word, like she was talking to a 5 year old, because I had asked her to clarify something she had told me a couple of weeks before. How patronising and rude. I have been with this practice for over 10 years but it has gone downhill since Raj left. I have now transferred my care to a private dentist who treats me with care and respect, not like I'm an inconvenience and nuisance. When I went in to cancel my appointments with them the ignorant staff member on reception asked me if I wanted to close my account, not whether I wanted to rebook which just shows how much they value their NHS patients. They couldn't wait to get rid of me! Disgusted! My advice is don't go here if you want any treatment in a hurry by caring staff because you won't get it.

Update 5/4/23 Sadly my trusted and highly experienced dentist has left , so not risking using the practice anymore. I appreciate it is very difficult to recruit dentists but trust is essential. Might have to go private. I have been using the dentist since it opened. It has a mix of dentists, some are amazing, others are "work in progress" .My recent experience I had to have a number of teeth removed, not a great experience. My dentist is so considerate , so professional . I had to have a shattered tooth removed. She referred me to a surgeon and it was done the next day.

God awful experience from the moment you walk in. Dental assistants and receptionist are the most unhelpful, flippant people you will ever encounter in the midst of an emergency. Dont know why you go into healthcare knowing you have no interest whatsoever in the wellbeing of others, their people skills are also absolutely disgusting. Pro tip: if you ever read bad reviews about a place amongst a few good ones, dont assume youll be the exception - stay away from this place.
