Very accomodating on helping with a quick turn around on jacket we had done recently. Friendly, helpful, good price and nice clean. Thank you very happy.

I wouldn't normally write a negative review but have had such a bad experience with this cleaners that others should be warned. I had three items altered - a good quality pair of jeans was patched with thin, cheap, stretchy denim which will not last, a delicate vintage dress came back with terrible quality repairs which had not been finished and a waistcoat was incorrectly mended, I sent it back and the repairs came back still not fixed and the fabric has been damaged. I had paid for cleaning and the item had not been cleaned. The lady is rude and dismissive. The gentlemen was very apologetic, polite and helpful. However I absolutely would not take any clothes to be mended there. Poor service and awful quality. Service: Alterations

Firstly the lady on reception was very nice. Having said that, I dropped off my cream linen sports jacket as it had a few foundation (make-up) marks on the collar, shoulder and a couple of small marks in other places, nothing major I just wanted it clean. Picked it up a whole week later and all the marks were still there. Apparently "they worked really hard to get the marks out, but were unable to". They also had not attempted to re-straighten the layer of shoulder padding which I didn't notice until home, it was all screwed up in a bunch on both shoulders inside the lining. I pulled this straight, before the following. At home and now with nothing to lose I simply washed it on a quick and gentle 'silk wash' in the washing machine against the advice of both the label and the dry cleaners. Well, guess what... it's perfectly fine, the marks are 'miraculously' completely gone and it hasn't lost any of its shape after a quick iron. How long did it take me to place it in the washing machine and then iron it... more or less than a week do you think? No hint of a refund for failing to clean it at all! At least I didn't have to pay extra for how hard they'd worked for a whole week, aren't I lucky. That'll teach me! I'll let you decide if I'd recommend this place, their advice or their processes for that matter.
