To be clear, I did not go there for a church service. Rather, I attended a graduation ceremony of the University of Buckingham at this 240 years old Buckingham Parish Church for the second time. The build is certainly that of Gothic Revival Architecture translating one into the days of yore where you begin to apprehend the divine. Indeed, with its elevation, it always feels like a church set on a mountain. Of course, one will not forget the wintriness that pervades everywhere, making it clear it is not yet spring. The winds on the day were not friendly at all, supercool chilled air with gust that threatened to remove unheld hats, run nose, generate misty eyes, make one flow, almost close to levitating with the winds, and certainly ruffled the hair. But getting enraptured in the lush greenery of the grounds more than make up for any discomfort and a eerie reminder that you were in the countryside of England.
