Marks and Spencer

Oh! How little you understand shopping, Marks and Spencers of Shoreham. Today I visited, partly to buy my parents clothes from a brand I know they use, and partly to enjoy the kind customer service and benefit from a little interaction in my busy, fairly lonely life. I chose a linen shirt for Dad, a white blouse for Mum. I tried to checkout in menswear, but was repulsed by the automated checkout. High anxiety. I want a human! I cried. The helper nearby tells me, they're all automated now, no humans! Horrified I raced to ladieswear to check and indeed, no attended checkouts. I exclaimed my sorrow - we may as well all shop online now! And left. Indeed I bought Dad the same looking linen shirt for 24 pounds less online - delivery tomorrow, in person. I walked over to Tesco and bought linen trousers for Mum and checked out with a real human. Phew! Anxiety back down to normal levels.

Bought my shirts couple of months ago and the stitching are coming off, I went to the till when a young guy say that's wear and tear, I told him no thats manu fault and I asked him to get his manager, after the first guy agrees to exchange them without a reciept as lost the manager comes very rude thinking he's the best and said NO SORRY WE CAN'T DO NOTHING WITH THEM AND IF I WANT I CAN BUY NEW ONES, shocking

Suit for a wedding. Very limited choices. Very limited range in my size. No staff. Self check out - needed staff member to remove security tags. She didn't even want to look for them. Only removed one, there were in fact three, two of which I only found after I had the products home. You do not want to know the trouble that caused. They have also stopped selling cards?? When did that happen?
