Gerry and Cam have done a lovely job for me. The paved out the front of my house and in the garden they have replaced the paving, built some raised beds, stepping stones and new turf. The garden is transformed thanks to their skill. Picking someone for a big job on your home is a nerve-racking experience, but I'm so glad I chose them. Gerry visited several times prior to starting work to ensure we were happy with the plans and to discuss any concerns we had. He was very generous with his time which gave us lots of reassurance and confidence in him. We had the garden entirely landscaped due to surface water collecting on the lawn. It was a big job that we were keen to get right. We also have four quotes in total and Gerry was the most detailed and reasonable quote. Gerry talked through several options and ensured the new patio would be cambered and designed with run offs to assist with surface water. Gerry was here on time in the 40 degree heat wave moving sleepers and taking the deliveries of materials. Nothing was too much trouble for him, even when having to source different materials, it was all taken care off with no delay to the work. Gerry and Cam did and amazing job, it was hot and they worked non stop for two weeks to get the job done. On the last night they were here until 9pm to ensure it was completed before we went away. They worked really hard to save all of my existing trees which caused more work for them but they genuinely care about gardens and plants. The finished product is excellent. We absolutely love it and the comments we get from neighbours and visitors shows, its really very impressive. We have had a huge down pour and I am pleased to say, no surface water so working wonderfully for us. I cant praise these gents enough. We already have ideas for other projects and G.Simmonds will be our first choice. Extremely professional, 100% trustworthy and as a female, I felt very comfortable home alone with them here working. They were also excellent with my little boy and dog who were often coming out to see what was happening. Thank you guys. Excellent job. Gerry and Lee came to complete a path, sleepers, shed base and pergola/decking for us last month. The quote that we had broke everything down, which was good for us to be able to see costs clearly and the quality of the workmanship, especially with the pergola, speaks for itself. We wanted our garden to be "another room" in our house and it really is. We are really happy with the look of the garden and have had lots of compliments! Gerry and Lee are super friendly and happy to offer advice, they are really knowledgeable in their field and it shows. (Before and after photos attached - Please note, the state of the grass has nothing to do with Gerry and Lee, my partner and I wanted to take it on as a project and believe it or not, it looks a lot better than it did 2 months ago. With Gerry's advice, patches have now grown back).
