        Have been to The Monkhams today for a meal it will be the last time I had a beef roast the meat was that bad I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife was going to take the meat home for my dog but I wouldn't even give it to her. The waitress thou was very good but would not recommend this place at all.

        Not bad on service bar service good,most staff look happy...prices are average,food averagely priced...BUT the carribean chicken wings!! Are in need of a revamp or new recipe,nothing or no taste of the carribean... Other than that not bad overall

        Lovely pub. Barman was super efficient. Unfortunately the steak I had, although ordered rare, wasn't cooked at all on one half, so was inedible. The peas were also cold on arrival too and the pepper sauce could be improved as it tasted more like a gravy. My friends all thoroughly enjoyed their dishes though, so all good.
