Chigwell Sheds

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Ordered a 10x10ft shed, an 8x8ft summer house, and shed removal. Neville turned up, told me theyd be unable to take the existing shed away as it had to be like for like (it was the exact same square footage as the two structures wed bought); because it had glass in it and it wasnt safe for the two teenagers hed bought with him to assist (it was Perspex, also, most sheds have windows) and then, that it would cost him too much to dispose of. He delivered the sheds to my back lawn, where theyve been rotting ever since. We also paid them to put down a concrete base. He left a message on the day he was due to come saying thered been a diary conflict, it was a bit too far to go, and hed be in touch. Always a litany of excuses. Never heard from them again. Have not responded to any emails, phone calls, or messages. Did a section 75 claim, so my credit card company will be recouping the costs from them. Theyre shockingly bad. And when they make a snide response to this, I literally have the receipts and lists of unanswered emails which I can post as proof.

DO NOT USE. Neville and Davina have stolen our money, no shed and no contact. Contact your bank (Charge back, section 75) to try and get your money back!

I ordered a shed 8 weeks ago from Chigwell sheds. I spoke to Davina who who happily took my money and assured me it would be 3-4 weeks and they had no supply issues. When I tried to make contact at 4 weeks as I heard nothing from them, my messages were ignored and I received read receipts and one automated patronising text. I managed to get hold of Neville at week 5 via phone who assured me they hadn't ripped me off and they were having supply problems. I was understanding but said they must communicate this and he assured me they would. At week 8 I have had no communication. Messages have been read but are not being responded to. After further investigation it seems Chigwell Sheds have not been paying their suppliers and there are no more sheds coming their way until they do. I've asked for a refund on my 50% deposit but they haven't responded. Will have to take legal action now - so gutting as saved for a shed for the last 2 years and now feel completely scammed!

DO NOT purchase from this company. Neville and Davina are scammers and have taken our money. They advised a shed would be delivered in 3-4 weeks and asked us to make payment in full, 9 weeks later they are ignoring our calls. They are in debt with their supplier and have no sheds - our order was never made. Complete fraudsters.
