Floor Sanding & Finishing London - Robin Wood Floor

The guys did a fantastic job on our floors. They sanded, filled gaps, and replaced some missing floorboards to restore our Victorian pine floors. They look amazing now! The team arrived on time, worked quickly, and also flagged a problem to me left by other builders to make sure I was aware. They also left a small amount of materials so our builders could touch something up in a nearby room. I was in a rush to find someone to do the work on our floors and they worked very quickly in the same week I called to squeeze me in between their other jobs. Thanks guys!!

I invited Robert and his team to sand a room in my house. They turned up and Robert was great to communicate with, friendly, buoyant, energetic and very enthusiastic. He instantly filled me with confidence. He then worked with his team and stayed completely focused on the job, working extremely hard with a great positivity. They all continued without breaks until the job was finished. The floor looks amazing and the finish is first class. All done so quickly and efficiently. I called them back to do all the rooms in my house. Wonderful workmanship from all with excellent attitudes. Thank you guys! Helen from Islington.

I asked Robin Wood flooring to sand 16m2 of Victorian pine floorboards, remove and re-stitch an old fireplace hearth and finish the floor with a matt lacquer. The communication from Robert was good, he answered all the questions I had about the work and confirmed by text the night before the job would start. Robert and the team turned up on time and got to work straight away. The job was finished quickly, started at 8am and Robert and his team were gone by 11:30am After Robert and his team finished, from afar the floor looked good. The hearth re-stitch was excellent, good reclaimed floorboard match with original boards. After the lacquer dried I was able to inspect the floor more closely and found that the finish was disappointing. There are lots of rough spots and visible sanding marks all over the floor. I've had other parts of the house sanded by different companies so have a reference for what a good finish looks like and this one is poor. I raised this issue with Robert, who offered to come over and put another coat of lacquer on the floor. As this wouldn't improved the rough spots in the floor I refused this offer and asked for it to be refinished. I emailed some images of the floor to Robert, after this I didn't receive any further correspondence from him. I wouldn't recommend Robin Wood Flooring. They will be able to sand your floors, do it quickly and at a competitive price. But if you value the final finish and don't want your floors to look like they've been butchered by an industrial sander than I'd suggest looking elsewhere. I've attached some pictures of my Robin Wood sanded floor.
