        Incredible sized shop for such a small town centre with virtually every type of electrical appliance you could wish for. Not so sure as to how the prices compare to those on-line though.

        I cannot recommend the service we received from Searle's highly enough. Replacing oven and hob (so old that some parts no longer available, and others would cost more to repair than buy new), we visited their shop (an absolute gem of a find for all things electrical) to chose replacements. These were fitted the following morning. Very courteous and helpful shop staff members and installers. The cost of the repair visit was waived as we had then purchased from them.
