I bought a house with via my solictior. Hogan Lisle /David Birchnall was acting on behalf of the seller. My lawyer committed a small mistake and did not ask for a TR1 form to be signed prior to completion. Once I tried ot register the property, the Land registry has asked for the signed form. My solicitor asked David to send it. David has abused the situation dramatically for sending a simple form (he did not have to do anything apart from get it signed by the seller) and charged 950 GBP plus VAT as a wasted charge which I had to pay for to avoid both solicitors going to court against each other. People can make mistakes in this life, but to make use out of situation for your own benefit and abuse the situation so badly, asking a tremendous amount of money because he is aware I am desperate for my title deed, is totally wrong, immoral, and sick (whilst I was fighting for my life in the hospital). The money he made was not even passed to the seller. DO not recommend to deal with this lawyer (although I was not their customer).
