Excellent food. Loved the new salad with gondhoraaj lemon infused with truffle. Had a very pleasant conversation with Anjanda, the owner. Was hoping to meet him at some point. So wish fulfilled. This is my fourth visit to this place. I celebrated my anniversary with my friends, had great food during the Durga Puja season (they had a Puja Special Menu). Will be back very soon.

We had arrived with much hope but we're quite disappointed. The meat being halal (we don't eat halal) we avoided meat dishes. But, the reason for being there was authentic Bengali food and the hilsa and aam pana were not even available. We did not expect this especially because it is the mango season! The cocktails/drinks were great. Service was very good. The beetroot and julienned crispy potato were excellent. We had to settle for fish paturi but we made the right choice because that was great too. Other dishes especially the pumpkin and spinach, could have been better. The desserts were hugely disappointing. The mention of lengcha, when they actually served gulab jamun with a tasteless blob of something they called rabri. Bengal is renowned for its sweets and this did not do any justice to maintain that reputation. Finally, we had seen photos of cutlets in the reviews, but none of that was in the menu. Where'd it all go?? The decor also could be better because apart from the beautiful photos, there was nothing much to relate to Bengal. Overall, not worth the price you pay for!
