Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and in a great location. Decided to pop in for breakfast before a long day of exploring London and werent disappointed. Good portions, tasty and value for money.

Appalling service and disappointing food. I really wanted to like this place, as I live just around the corner and it would be great to have a 'go-to' breakfast place. I ordered the Muffin Royale (just an egg royale) and my partner ordered the 'hearty' vegetarian breakfast. The wait to get our food was incredibly long. The drinks came first- I had water and my partner had a pot of tea. It was presented nicely but there was only really one cup of tea worth in the pot. Very pricey for 4. After an extremely long wait, we recieved our food. My partner's 'hearty' breakfast consisted of one egg, one sausage, a bit of avocado, mushrooms and one slice of toast. The amount was ridiculous for 11.50, the egg was overcooked and the 'smashed avocado' tasted like store bought guac. I ordered the Muffin Royale. It was fine, but poached egg overcooked and salmon discoloured. We waited for the bill, and had to call out to the waiter before they eventually came over. When he did, I pointed out the discolouration of the salmon. Instead of apologising and saying it won't happen again, which would've been fine with me, he actually stood there arguing with me about it, saying he didn't know where I usually get my salmon from but theirs was fresh, and telling me to google fresh salmon. Absolutely appalling customer service, I've never experienced service as bad as that. Bad service, bad food at high prices. There are plenty of better breakfast places just down the road in Baker St. Give this a miss.
