The Camberwell Arms

Finally made it to Camberwell Arms and managed to get a table for 4pm on a Sunday. Was super excited to try the food as menu looked great so we got a pint and placed the ordertill the waitress came back 5 mins later saying they are out of the lamb, pork and steak mains! I mean granted it was at 4pm but then dont accept reservations for a late lunch if there isnt anything left - bit of a shame really but guess need to go back and sample the food!

Fantastic food with a great vibe set in the heart of Camberwell. We have been for dinner here each time. The scotch bonnet beef fat on toast and Hereford rump are highlights. The fish dishes are also delicious along with the scrummy desserts. Great setting and the customer service is first class and friendly. We havent tried the Sunday roasts but will definitely be returning to try it out!

With a friend and we happened upon this venue as a place to eat and catch up. Hospitality was excellent. The place wasnt busy when we got there and they graciously let me park my bike inside the pub which was really kind of them. The service was excellent quick efficient. The food was superb. Im a meat eater however, the non-meat selection was brilliant. This was an accidental encounter, however, I would gladly seek this place out again next time, Im in Camberwell, for its atmosphere hospitality and food. Absolutely brilliant experience.
