Amwell Surgery

If I could give 0 I would. This practice is an absolute joke. My daughter broke her collarbone while on holidays, we went to the hospital abroad but were advised to see children surgeon back home. I called GP to get the referral to the surgeon (I have all the documentation from hospital including x-ray) they called me back in the afternoon suggesting an appointment with GP in 1-2 days to talk about referral... are you kidding me????? Talk about what? In 1-2days while the kid has broken bone???? Unacceptable!!!!! And thsi is medical staff??? Shame on you!

Very poor at trying to get a prescription urgently it seems either the doctors don't want to know or receptionist hasn't done their job

I have been with practice for many years and have had wonderful treatment from all the staff. I cannot praise the doctors and nurses that I have seen, enough.The advice they give may not be what you want to hear eg smoking, alcohol, obesity, exercise etc but you have to participate in your own treatment. I imagine a lot of NHS money and resources is used for avoidable ill health, but its NOT the practices fault.

I would never go to another surgery. I can't fault Amwell. They're just perfect. The Drs are all excellent, the support staff are fast and professional. I've been with them 10 years and hardly a single mistake has been made. They also saved my life (my GP) SEVERAL times (I'm very sick). Once, the Dr actually caught me as I fell through the door, half dead. I won't hear a word against them and I shall stay with them forever. Give them a go, they're ever so nice :)

Cannot fault this practice. E-consults work so well, never had a problem getting an appointment. Reception/secretaries are doing a great job and i highly recommend this Surgery x
