Wonderful Family run restaurant, the food makes you feel at home. Made with so much love and Flavour. Highly recommend. The evening Atmosphere is perfect and the Decor is absolutely beautiful.

Love this restaurant, the food is authentic and it reminds me of home. The service is excellent and is nice to have the chef asking us how our food is, it shows a level of extra care. Vegetarian options: If you are a vegetarian Jojos is your restaurant. Plenty of healthy choices options

I visited a year ago. I had noticed Ethiopian coffee ceremony. I walked in. The restaurant was empty. A waitress with some reluctance carried out the ceremony. She had to be repeatedly prompted what was happening. My trousers (brand new) ripped on the low stool I was sat on. She did not want to know. A year on, I visit to eat. I explain to the owner my trousers ripped on a previous visit. Rude. Does not want to know. I check the places I wished to eat. Too late, closed at ten. Only option is JoJo Kitchen, an Ethiopian restaurant. Blackstock Road, a rough area, gangs of young men hanging around. The restaurants closed, and yet barber shops open. And fast food takeaways. Ethiopian restaurant empty. I dont know what to eat. The top two items on the menu, lamb, one not spicy the other spicy. I ask for the second one, not too spicy. A cold metal tray is brought. On the tray, thin, cold, soggy flatbread. What constitutes a lamb stew is poured into the middle. I am told to eat, fold the cold soggy flatbread around the lamb stew. I try. It falls to bits. The most disgusting dish I have ever eaten. So spicy to be inedible. The lamb is tough. When the bill is brought, I question why two pounds is added to my bill. The waitress says it was explained. It was not. Maybe explained the tough spicy lamb was served with flatbread. Did not explain that it was extra. Meal at this Ethiopian restaurant must be the worst I have ever eaten. Served on soggy cold flatbread on a cold metal tray, tough chewy lamb, so spicy not edible. No surprise the restaurant was empty. Walking back along Blackstock Road, almost midnight, the barber shops are still open, still busy.
