Advance Appliances

I placed an order with advance appliances as recommended by my plumber. The service I received from Kathryn from order to delivery was nothing short of outstanding. Unfortunately the machine wouldn't work and as the follow up care was not great. These are specialised machines and not everyone will or can work with them. It was more the installer than the company in all fairness but I feel they should have communicated better. The warranty would not be valid if the installer was not registered with them.

I am absolutely delighted with the outstanding performance of the Advance Appliances Unvented Heat Pump Cylinder HP215. I chose it against all competition because it has the lowest heat loss and one of the largest heating coils. Now having used it I am amazed at how this excellent design performs with my Hitachi Yutaki S80 air source heat pump set on the Standard, High Efficency, Delta T Mode where water temperature is held 15 degrees C above the current hot water tank temperature. During the heat up process the fact that the coil extends right from top to bottom of the tank means it gives the most even heating possible ensuring there are no unheated parts and thus protecting against legionella without having to have excessive temperature at the top. In fact during the early phase of the heat-up process when coil flow temperature is lower the coil heats the bottom without changing the top but as heat-up progresses the whole tank is then brought up to the desired temperature. As I say, a brilliant design.

We have install over 50 of Advance Appliances ETS units for our customers. We find they are always cheerful and they bend over backwards to help. When we did have an issue with one of their units they responded quickly and its was resolved to our (and our customers) satisfaction. We have three more orders to place with them and highly recommend their products.
