Art of The Portrait

I've met Gary in a few photography conventions before and always wanted to do a workshop with him. I have finally had an opportunity to do so and I've been asking myself a question: why on earth I haven't done it a few years ago? The knowledge that I gained today has given me so much confidence to step out of my comfort zone and start studio photography after a decade of being an outdoor, natural light photographer. Thank you Gary! If you are considering a workshop with Gary, then don't! Just do it!

Gary's photography training was a breath of fresh air for me. I had been doing it all wrong and he taught simple things that were forgotten about by my own methods, which lead to more successful pictures and more variety. And if you're going to book Gary for one-2-one, make sure he teaches you headshots also! If you're looking into getting better at taking pictures then Gary will help with any questions or concern - professional service from an expert photographer who knows what they are talking about- highly recommended.

Gary's boudoir shoot was soooo good, my husband loved the results so much that we now have a beautiful baby boy! Boom! One sexy portrait and that was it! ;-) This chap knows his stuff and he's a total legend. I felt comfortable throughout out, he is a true professional.

Gary is a fantastic photographer and brilliant trainer. His knowledge is invaluable and his willingness to push and support has allowed be to develop confidence in my ability. The training with Gary never ends, he is always there at the end of a message if I ever need to check something with him or get advice. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn from the master of light or anyone who wishes to create a beautiful piece of timeless art for their home.

I met Gary a good few years ago now and have been lucky enough to attend some of his training courses. This man is the best when it comes to his knowledge of lighting, in all aspects of photography. He is very patient and and spends time explaining everything, including the basics. I have learnt a lot from him and now use my light meter for every session! I have also been photographed by him, for my maternity photographs and as a family portrait. I'm always very pleased with the photographs Gary produces, they are timeless and will be treasured by us for years to come.
