In July last year my wife and I experienced a house fire which all but destroyed our kitchen and soot damaged the remaining rooms in the house. We were advised to get an independent loss assessor which we did, as we were advised that insurance companies have a tendency to penny pinch and waste pounds, which ours certainly did. The independent loss adjuster fought our corner over things like our contents claim and thankfully introduced us to Bedfords Charted Building Surveyors and in particular Bob Burley their surveyor who managed our home reinstatement. We were so grateful to have Bob who fought and pushed the insurance company, their appallingly cheap contractor and their appalling sub contractors every inch of the way to ensure we ended up with an acceptable outcome with the reinstatement of our home. If it hadn't been for Bob and his tenacity we would probably still be out of our home 13 months on . However we are so grateful for Bedfords and in particular Bob and for his professionalism, empathy and support throughout a very difficult time. Thank you Bedfords and Bob.

Bedfords showed great professionalism and competance in dealing with the Loss Assessors , Insurance representatives and building contractors. I felt that they were always looking after my interests, and dealt very well with the numerous challenges from the other parties.

Fantastic surveyors. We can't thank them enough. We appointed Bedfords after a property flood so assist with out insurance claim. After having some concerns with our insurer we decided to appoint our own independent surveyors. Paul and Karen were outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Using Bedfords really took away a lot of the stress of an insurance claim and ensured we received a fair settlement. Brilliant service from start to finish. Highly recommended.
