We first contacted and spoke with Michael Fish of GRANITE SETTS DIRECT of Cumbria on our selected choice of 80mm x 80mm Rose Tumbled Granite setts; Which was late morning/early afternoon on a Friday. We received a quotation by close of business on the same day. We accepted the quotation on the Saturday and settled in full. The original delivery date was set for a 7-day turn-around for the following Friday as there was a need to tumble a remaining 25% of the smaller 80mm x 80mm stone as ordered. Michael managed to tumble this remaining portion in time for an early Monday morning collection from a Logistics company provider. The fully-tumbled Rose granite setts were delivered by 11.00am on the Wednesday Morning some 2 days earlier than expected! Id like to thank Michael for his 1st class service to us. As we hadn't done any granite paving before I called Michael quite a few times for advice on how to lay his product. How ever many times I called, Michael was only too happy to help.He didn't have to do this as I only purchased the material from him and not his knowledge. Then came his knowledge and willingness on how to use the flow point grouting system. Once again, we had never used this product before but after a few panicky phone calls to Michael, the end result was fantastic and that was all down to him. Thank you Michael for your 1st class products and your 1st class service. Because of that, I will never go anywhere else and would advise anyone thinking of using these products to look no further than Michael's company.

We have been looking for paving for a small part of our drive between gates that then lead to an area of shingle. It was more challenging than we expected and we looked at all the big names and main suppliers. Thankfully we came across Granite Setts Direct. Michael was very knowledgeable and responsive and helpful. What a relief - after weeks of looking we spoke to Michael and the order was in and confirmed within about 30 minutes. We ordered the medium grey tumbled setts. They are good quality and perfect for what we wanted. We have to support our small businesses and Michael is a great example of why. Excellent. Trustworthy. This hidden gem of a business is obviously set up to deal in bulk, and I only wanted 47 setts for a small garden project. Regardless of my small requirement Michael was fantastic, sending out samples that arrived incredibly quickly, and replying promptly to my subsequent email queries. Because of the closeness of his yard to our home location he invited us to visit, and even made the offer that we could hand pick individual setts if we wanted. On arriving it was amazing to see the quantity of crates full of granite setts stacked in the yard. Nothing was too much trouble. Michael showed us the various kinds of granite and finishes and explained the difference. Once we made our choice he had a crate forklifted to the car so we could load our setts. We chose setts that were 200x100x50, and when I enquired about cutting them he even included a small number of 100x100x50 setts in the price he'd already quoted to save the need for matting. absolutely fantastic people and products, would highly recommend.
