Brough Methodist Church

My son and I have always been warmly welcomed at this Methodist church and have attended the lets play group on Saturday mornings for the last 4 years. Karen who runs them has always gone above and beyond to make people welcome and gets both children and adults involved in activities and conversation. This is a lifeline for parents who dont know many people locally or just want to reach out to others and become part of a community.

I would recommend this Church because during lockdown I have joined their 'Zoom' services and I feel a community has been created. It has been good to have the services to look forward to in these times of uncertainty.

Always found the church and the groups within very friendly , never judged any of the many tricky situations I have found myself in with having a small family who are free range , always a good community spirit received with all interactions both within and outside the church x x always my go to place , and Ive made some reliable and lovely friends , thank you x x

I have always found Brough Methodist Church a warm and friendly environment. I often take my little boy to Brough Lets Play playgroup, where he is able to socialise and engage with other children. Karen, who runs the group, is amazing and is always friendly and supportive. There is usually a few people enjoying some lovely cake and a drink in the cafe, who always make an effort to speak to myself and my little boy. The cake is always fab as well! Overall, a wonderful and inviting church.
