We were so lucky to stay here for 3 nights with our dog Dottie-Anne. It is stunning, as are the views!!! The hosts Debi and Stuart are really welcoming and friendly and their attention to detail made our stay so much more special. There was a hot and cold doggy shower outside with towels and even toys! The hot tub again with towels and Alexa was well and truly enjoyed, sunsets and rises whilst relaxing in the hot tub is a must. The welcome hamper was so lovely to walk into and the presecco very much appreciated. It has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The garden, patio areas to front and back are lovely, Dottie-Anne had the best time running up and down to the stream and in the huge private garden to the back and was fascinated by the sheep, goats, horses and ducks. The hosts are extremely knowledgable about the local walks and surrounding areas. We visited the lovely Pooley Bridge as recommended by them and had a wonderful day. Great food and service at Granny Dulbecks with its fabulous view of the river, and a fab Gin shop with the best customer service Whilst this has only just become available for bookings it is super clean. You can sense that the hosts take extreme pride and care in this beautiful Lodge, totally understandable given both exterior and interior designs and build was done by themselves. We cannot recommend this beautiful place highly enough, it is both relaxing and idyllic, so much so we have booked again for next year.

Just spent a week here, and it was wonderful. Already looking for next years dates. Clean, tidy and with all the things you need. The hot tub is lovely, even on a cold November evening! Parking is excellent and it's close enough to the lakes. Penrith has plenty of shops. Can't wait to go back as we didn't see all the things we wanted to.
