Sticky Sponge Cake Studio

Wow what can I say?! The photo of our cake probably speaks for itself! We asked for a Lego themed cake, and Graeme did an incredible job of transferring our dream into reality. Importantly it not only looked great, but tasted amazing too! We had different flavours on different tiers, including Vanilla, Chocolate Orange and Red Velvet. Graeme made the process so easy from start to finish. His communication was brilliant, and we are over the moon with the final result. I can't recommend Sticky Sponge highly enough

From the earliest enquiry about having a cake created for my Dads 80th to eating the cake, every interaction with Graeme and Sticky Sponge was excellent. The cake, a caricature of Dads terrier was amazing, larger than life and displaying the terrier perfectly. The became a central feature of the party, I am sure every guest had their photo taken with it, the staff of the restaurant and other guests were amazed too! Though the cake looked like statuary, it was definitely a cake made for eating, chocolate orange sponge with chocolate cream, it tasted wonderful. Indeed two guests who are long standing Master Bakers and own a very reputable bakery were incredibly impressed with the flavour, texture and quality of the cake and astounded that this was achieved with the incredible sculpting. Graeme is a cake making genius and superb person to deal with, thank you!

Absolutely amazing cake!!!! Everyone who witnessed this piece of art was in awe of how realistic it was. I asked Graeme to create a burger cake for my partner who owns a branded catering company, specialising in gourmet burgers. I only gave him a couple of weeks notice max for this and he managed to fit me in and accommodate my changing requirements (size and day). He gave lots of flexibility even though he had other projects on at the time. The cake was a masterpiece and the children actually thought it was a real burger! He also made lovely touches to give me what I wanted like he added my partners favourite logo prints on the wrapper and branded the top of the bun. Once we reluctantly decided to cut into the masterpiece, the cake was absolutely delicious. Lovely texture and flavour and extremely neat layers! I would recommend Sticky Sponges to friends and family for sure and certainly would like to use them again in the future! Thank you

We would absolutely recommend Sticky Sponge. Graeme did the cake for our wedding. The design was fabulous and the guests absolutely loved it. It tasted amazing and we had lots of lovely comments. Graeme worked with us when we changed our venue, and therefore changed our design. Both of the designs were brilliant and you could tell hed put a lot of thought and time into both of them. If looking at pictures of previous cakes doesnt sway you to use Sticky Sponge, then hopefully this review will help! Thanks Sticky Sponge :)

We had 90 wedding cupcakes made by Graeme and they were incredible! Graeme was so helpful and responsive despite how last minute it was and really made us feel special. He was flexible about what we wanted, had great advice and was very easy-going! We had multiple flavours and they were all delicious and moist and fresh and definitely crowd-pleasing! Thank you!!
