The Dirty Rabbit

Nice lighting, room temperature a bit on the low side. Has the atmosphere of 'a cafe'. Very welcoming assisstant/waitress; big smile and eye contact. Very noisy processing ice grinding machine behind the bar. Very average food. Goats cheese on gluten free (my preference) soggy 'bread' sitting on soggy over dressed salad. Frozen chips. I emphasised that I'm vegetarian... Cheese cake was made with gelatin and had jelly-like texture. I didn't even taste it. I asked the waitress (who kept calling me 'lovely') to ask the chef; it was confirmed it was gelatin, and apologised. I was charged for it! I didn't want a scene so I paid and left quietly. Sadly I won't recommend or return. 2 stars because potentially it could be a nice place.

Thank you all for making us feel welcomed. The service was amazing and very professional. If I could give the food 10* I would. The food was at high standards and fresh and we very much enjoyed eating at the dirty rabbit. We look forward to coming again.
