        Visited just for a morning while doing then H-ART week venues. What a stunning place being brought back to life by the current owner. We were given a guided tour by Charlie (Estate Manager - Housekeeper and I sense the rock that pulls it all together). Very informative tour and very relaxed approach. The rooms that are available for guests to stay look amazing and I would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Ernie (the owner) I can see would be an incredible host for your visit.

        Rowden Abbey is exceptional, we had a very happy time there. As a large family attending a nearby wedding, we rented all the rooms of the house and the Coach House for 3 days, and it was perfect spot for us. The house is full of character and is very comfortable. And Charlie was exceedingly helpful every day to make our visit the best it could possibly be. A very memorable place to stay.

        Stayed here for friends daughters wedding, room very comfortable, hosts very warmly engaging and the breakfast was a wonderful sight to behold. Gave us a guided tour of the house very informative and they both should be praised for the restoration of the house back to its former glory .If we are in the area shall definitely stay again ,book you will not be disappointed. Thank you Charlie and Ernie for a wonderful stay

        What a fabulous find Rowden Abbey was! We stayed this weekend in the self catering Coach House which is beautiful and had everything we needed & more. We did end up having breakfast in the main house which had plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was perfect. Charlie is an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very friendly and engaging with our children which is appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to tell us about the history of the house and show us your wonderful cars. The children especially loved Bentley the dog & were thrilled when she came with us on our walk round the grounds. Thank you again, we will definitely be back!
