I am totally disgusted at the way Sutton Motorcycles of Bromsgrove treated me on my past & recent visits to their premises, for reasons as below:
I took my Honda Goldwing 1800 to Suttons Motorcycles of Bromsgrove on the 5th August 2022 for a MOT, Headlight bulbs changing and clutch and brake fluid change.
On the MOT they told me that they found a slight notch in the steering head and a fluctuation of the rear brake.
Soon after this visit I took my bike to 3 independent garages for a second opinion as i was not convinced that Suttons new what they were doing when they had my bike for the work above,
One of the 3 garages that I took my bike to for a second opinion was Bridge Motors of Exeter and of which they are Honda Main dealers.
On inspection of my bike Bridge Motors found that there was nothing wrong with the head stock and indeed nothing wrong with the rear brake.
Please note that all 3 garages could not find anything wrong with the head stock and indeed the rear brake .
However, giving Suttons the benefit of doubt ,I decided to give Suttons another chance at servicing my bike and took it back to them on the 27th February 2023 for an interim service costing 190.00 (I sincerely regret this decision now)
On the health check Suttons re examined the notch in the head stock and again found it at fault but did not mention the rear brake problem as they had mentioned previously. The reason why they did not mention the fault with the rear brake is simply because there was nothing wrong with brake mechanism and noting wrong with the head stock to start with.
To top it all, Suttons also stated that the brake fluid oil was contaminated and was quoting me 241 to rectify and change the oil. This I found absolutely ludicrous as I had only done 659 miles since the last oil change.
To say I am not happy with Suttons motorcycles of Bronmsgrove service is an understatement .
Needless to say they have lost my custom in the future.
