        I was in for an unpleasant surprise. I have owned over 20 bespoke Churchs shoes over the years. This Summer I wanted to buy another pair, but the price had tripled (!) and gone from expensive but worth the quality to seriously overpriced. New shoes different from the traditional models. It seems Churchs is abandoning its honest workmanship and tries to reinvent itself as a luxury fashion brand
