Zebra Housing Association provides post graduate accommodation at very affordable rates! It is extremely well managed and places the importance of the student and their families at the forefront of everything that they do!

I have been living in a Zebra flat for over one year and only have excellent things to say about the staff, and specialty maintenance team. They are all super friendly and helpful. The flat I live is great, well maintained, furnished and affordable. Different from regular landlords, they don't charge abusive fees from students . I really recommend Zebra for any international student looking for a place to live in London.

I lived in Jerome House, Zebras South Kensington property this past year and it was the best rental experience Ive ever had. The office is very responsive and very helpful and attentive to repairs and super communicative on bigger issues. The building warden was kind and welcoming and the neighbours are friendly enough, but quiet and respectful. It was a fantastic community to live in. But dont expect a lot of communal activity, all the units are pretty self-contained so there isnt much interaction between you and your neighbours unless you seek it out. It feels very much like renting a proper, adult apartment from a landlord except that the building is managed and serviced. Your neighbours are postgraduate students and tend to be mature and older. I never had any noise complaints and I never heard that anyones packages or belongings left in a communal area was stolen. My 1bedroom apartment was well-appointed, a perfect place to study and rest, but also large enough to host friends and family who came to visit throughout the year. I had a large desk and swivel chair, a 4-burner stove with an oven, a full-size fridge and freezer, a microwave, lots of kitchen counter space and kitchen storage, and an abundance of storage throughout the apartment. The location in South Kensington is unmatched being a 2-minute walk from the station, yet located on a quiet street off the main road. The rent might have seemed high but for what you get and for the location, it is amazing value for money and wayyyy below market price. I wish I could have stayed forever. There werent a lot of reviews on this place when I was considering it, but Im so glad I chose to live here. I cant recommend it enough! Apply early and if you get in, definitely take it!

Housing in London is not easy to deal with and when My husband and I first arrived in the city we didn't have the best of experiences. Moving to Jerome House gave us the stability and peace of mind to focus on our research/job. I liked many things about living here: that the terms of the tenancy agreement were fair, easy to understand and always respected; that maintenance/repairs was easy to request and always happened promptly; that staff were respectful and friendly; and that the building is so close to Imperial College! Above all, not once did we feel like we were being exploited or taken advantage of, which was our experience in a previous housing accommodationand I'm sure is also a common feeling for many new students in the city every year.
