The Behrens Dental Practice

So my mouth was in pretty bad shape, a combination of fear of dentistry and genetic predisposition to gum disease left untreated over many years. At this point I had an infection flare up after a chocolate binge and my teeth became quite loose. I saw two other places before landing at Behrens Dental. I first had 4 scaling and root planing sessions back to back over 4 days, which was great as at other places it would have taken a month. I did a lot of research online and knew laser treatments were my best option of any chance of saving my teeth. I was at the time very emotional about losing any. Its been quite the journey as I was very nervous. I found I loved the microscopes, the german heritage makes me think of german precision and the meticulous attention to detail from the hygienists is just brilliant. All the hygienists are great technicians in my opinion, my favorite worth a mention is Brianna of course, says my inner child. Its ongoing maintenance from here but for now I'm still smiling. Thanks Behrens team, thanks for fighting my corner.

Got myself a new crown and clean with the the hygienest. Great service and Ill defo be returning for any other dental treatment. Miriam was amazing with the process of the installation of the crown 10/10 experience. The hygienist who I didnt get the name of left my mouth feelings a million dolllars, cant thank them enough.

I want to Thank everyone who had a impact on my treatment, especially Dr.Mariam and Dr.Upasna for their professional attitude and patience with my gums and teeth problems. The sentence was i could of lost my teth in 4-5 years, but thanks to the dentist from The Behrens dental Clinic , I can keep all my teeth, healthy gums and to enjoy a beautiful smile. It's been now 6 months after the Laser treatment and al the teeth are healthy, beautiful and strong. I am loving the composite bonding done by Andrea. I would recommend the clinic to anyone. Here is my story begins with a tooth ache and initially approaching high street dentist in my local area to look at the issue. After spending three years with the dentist and repeatedly told that my condition can not be cured i went to see The Behrens. Day 1 The whole experience of the treatment with the clinic is very unforgettable. I was seen by a consultant (Andrea), given treatment plan and straight away was sent to see Brianna to start initial procedure before Laser treatment can begin, The lab is so professional and with all key latest instruments and microscope so not to miss a smallest plaque around any corners. The whole procedure was painless and i could not feel any discomfort which was very impressive. I was immediately given subsequent appointments so not to have long breaks in between the treatment . I was given required medications. Day 2 I was seen by Karolina who is top of the range Hygienist not only clinically as well as morally. She conducted the whole procedure with such dedication and care that it literally make feel in the safest hand i could be. Again the whole procedure was completely painless and extremely well managed keeping in mind my discomfort and needs. Day 3 I was seen by Brianna and again the amount of care and time she spends to go through each and every corner of the mount , literally 360 around every single tooth ensuring no pocket is left uncleaned and visiting all 4 quadrants again and again, no discomfort and fully satisfying session Day 4. I was back with Carolina to complete the root planning and as usual i was impressed with her shear dedication and moral support. She said this to me me so many times "Just trust the Process" and it made me feel i am in safe hands and she will not rest unless she will kill every single bacterial in every pocket. All teeth were completely scanned and ensure full 360 deep clean. Day 5. Andrea calls me in for quick checkup and scans all the teeth herself and and takes note for the team to look at few area of the mouth. She was very reassuring and tells me that its starting to look good. I should also mention that any treatment she mentioned was all ultimately required to get the full healthy mouth. One of my tooth had discharge in it which the my old high street dentist told me that there is nothing which can be done but Andrea looked at it and recommended root canal treatment and i can happily say that after 3 years of regular discharge all of the issue with that tooth has been remediated so her experience in identifying the root cause is second to none. Day 6 - 16 LASER/Root Treatment The main 2 hours sessions were mainly conducted by Karolina as i opted to stay with her. However there were 2 additonal Hygienist Upasana and Brianna involved in the process too who were equally good and dedicated. Karolina performs the treatment very meticulously, going over each and every pocket and one can see her dedication when she is looking for pockets around the teeth and even cursing the bacterias :-). Totally satisfying experience when you are with her. The other hygienists were equally professional and dedicated but my personal preference was always Karolina as her personal care was aligned with my expectations of the treatment. The root canal treatment conducted by Duncan is world class, the tooth is fully recovered, no issues. Day 17: Composite Bonding The treatment was conducted by Andrea, and her work was so satisfying that I couldn't see any difference between the bonded teeth and my real teeth. She is world-class, very polite, and caring. I would like to thank the whole team for providing me with a full periodontal treatment. When I came to Behrens, I had no hope and was certain that my condition couldn't be cured. But I am so happy that I trusted the clinic.
